Glass Maps 6: 1/8" at a time Up until the last couple days, I've been working on the slowest parts of both maps, the regions around the Philippines where there are so many chains of islands. I try to include as many significant islands as I can, but rigging temporary #Art #Sculpture #3d

When we in what is now the USA first were ruled by a king we got one that was totally mad (insane). We fought to get rid of him as our leader. Strange that our current wannabe king is also as mad as a hatter. Wonder if we can repeat our past path.

A wild turkey in front of me as I exited our front door today. Unusual here, I DO sometimes see them in the local orchards. It didn't fly away when I got close a few times, followed me into the backyard, may still be near where I feed wildbirds & seed gets scattered. My cat is cautious. Big bird.

More time on hands and knees cleaning up the bases of the young trees in my little food orchard. A couple years has passed and the rocks I outlined the trees with have sunk into the soil and growing weeds. After digging up the rocks, I'm removing all the weeds that #Spring #Flowers

I've been on hands and knees tearing weeds & grasses away from the base of ONE of the 20 or so trees in my small fruit and nut orchard. I got the irrigation turned on a few days ago so I'm gonna try to fix up the base of one tree a day. Looked up at the rest of the trees had to shoot pics. #Spring

Glass Map 5addendum: Alignment A quick addition to my last update showing a better picture of checking the alignment across several land masses. That's all for now.

Glass Map 5: recognizable shapes I've added enough glass now north of the Equators of each map that the northern parts of South America & Africa can be clearly seen. Off to the east (right in these images) are a smattering of islands that may be a bit harder to recognize. (Look at a map!) #Art

Glass map 4: about smallest pixels With the Equators on both maps attached with glue, it's time to add some land areas to South America, Africa, and islands & peninsula from Indonesia to the Philippines. In any non-continuous medium, the size of the smallest pixels determines #Art #Sculpture
