Nintendo Switch 2 initial impressions • Dock feels very cheap/flimsy • The magnetic joy cons are excellent for de/attaching to the console • Set up was very straight forward • For a handheld I'd argue it's borderline too big • Data transfer from Switch was smooth enough • Mario Kart World is 🔥

Phoned HMRC for a bit of help, waited about half an hour before someone picked up and the first thing they ask is if they're on loud speaker because there's an echo. Of course they're on loud speaker, who sits on hold with a phone up to their ear for that long? 😂

For me that game turned when Yamal went for goal and hit the post rather than take the ball into the corner, the game was done at that point. A more experienced player recognises this, a massive learning curve even for someone as talented as Yamal.

With our Tesla in the workshop after the accident last week we've been using a Ford Capri. Admittedly we only got that after taking a BMW iX back for being too big, but I've been pleasantly surprised with it so far, I do prefer the Ford Explorer's body shape but otherwise it's a very good drive.

After having Tears of the Kingdom from launch day I finally sat down to take on Ganondorf and complete the game this evening. Not sure why I put off doing this for so long, that final battle and end scenes are a masterpiece.
