This is super cool. The Blazers are the first professional sports team to provide OneCourt's haptic display at every home game! This cutting-edge technology enables fans who are Blind or Low Vision to experience live basketball action in real-time, at no additional cost. #RipCity #Blazers

Long story short, people who are confidently asserting what's going to happen don't have a clue about what will happen [good or bad]. No one alive knows THE way forward because there is no one way forward. Humility is in order. Humans aren't usually humble.

once again thinking about this passage from David Lynch's book Catching the Big Fish

Jordan Neely’s father, Andre Zachery, addresses reporters outside court after Daniel Penny was found not guilty of criminally negligent homicide for choking his son on the subway in 2023 “It hurts. It really, really hurts. What are we gonna do, people? What’s gonna happen to us now?”

This piece took two months to report and write. I am grateful to my editors at @vulture.com for encouraging me to do long-form reporting. Especially when it demolishes a lot of my preconceived notions about an art form, as this experience did. www.vulture.com/article/how-...

Me in my echo chamber

It’s mostly white people who talk about echo chambers. Maybe you need the internet to meet people with different ideas but the rest of us do not. We know what the “other side” thinks because we deal with it every day! Everywhere! We’re fine. Carry on. Happy Saturday!

It has been years since I’ve spent a Saturday sitting around at home, cleaning and waiting for guests to come over, while having a text-based social media app to simply, purely entertain me. It’s the best. Enjoy these times (and skeets) of simplicity before they fade!
