While I wait for feedback on my ghost story novel draft, I'm tempted to write a Transformers fic wherein Arcee changes her chassis color from pink to blue, Kup retires from bodyguard duty, and Cyclonus muses about his past life as a Seeker.

If you write, you're a writer. You don't have to be famous, professional, or even published. Too many times, folks seem to get hung up on what the idea of a "writer" is, when they should just be writing.

This is not just not-right. This is downright wrong. @upenn.edu, our graduate students, faculty, and programs deserve better than this. Why not increase undergrad acceptance? We only accept 6%! This would recover some funds AND increase institutional influence. www.thedp.com/article/2025...

Great stories from a great storyteller. open.substack.com/pub/workingc...

Grateful for our student reporters who are covering these stories with courage and integrity. Also, the instigators behind these funding cuts are small-minded bigots who are afraid of the ideas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. www.thedp.com/article/2025...

My novella "Number Seven and the Life Left Behind" is now for sale on IngramSpark! (I'm doing this mostly to be able to move away from Amazon, because Jeff Bezos sucks.) shop.ingramspark.com/b/084?params...

Great thread!

Spending the afternoon in IngramSpark, prepping my novella for sale outside of Amazon.

I love playing Hunting Horn, but this starter horn is pretty disappointing.

Popovic's rules of revolution: 1. It can happen anywhere. Even under the direst conditions, it is still possible to get people to fight for a cause. So the first step in starting a revolution is believing that it can happen, wherever you are. [1/5]

The administration is an abuser. To stay safe and sane, connect with whom and what you love. Live your life, engage in your joys. (Abusers hate joy!) Ready to fight? Call your reps. Donate and/or volunteer to causes important to you. Speak up in your community. Run for office even!

This video still makes me laugh out loud, 12 years later. youtu.be/qljUxcqlHXI?...
