February has already beat my January pages record, 2129 with a day left 💙📚 March TBR Plan whilst I wait for my wrap-up graphics: - Fellowship of Puzzle-Makers to kick off - Grave Empire on arrival (sad it got delayed) - Paperback for three days I have in France - Launch into the Library Trilogy

💙📚 Book 12 of 2025: The Eyes Are The Best Part by Monika Kim ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Enjoyed this a lot more than my last Evernight pick, tread the line on creepy and realistic very well to craft a horror that gave you just enough. Fun read to see out February anyway, onto March!

😍

Just realised I totally missed the Hyperion sale date DAMN IT there are too many cool books to buy.

Don't care how slight the damage is, this @thebrokenbinding.bsky.social edition of The Tainted Cup has eluded me for over a year, thrilled to see it appear in the Infirmary section and snapped it up immediately 😂

💙📚 Book 11 of 2025: A Pirate's Life For Tea by @rebeccathorne.bsky.social ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Double the lesbians, double the fun! Throw in pirates for good measure and it made for a fun read to recover from The Echo Man 😅 Roll on book three!

Why yes, I think I will order another 7 books since Waterstones are doing 25% off preorders. 💙📚

No YOU were left unsupervised with Waterstones points available. My physical TBR pile will never shrink. Couldn't be me. 💙📚

Morning runs are THE WORST how do people do this regularly???

Buying this is how I get over the pain of not getting the Andy Weir set.

To anyone who managed to grab the Andy Weir TBB set. 💙📚🪐 #booksky

Still jumping through mental hoops deciding how to afford this Broken Binding Andy Weir set (I can't) and whether to try for the sale (I shouldn't). Still seven hours though...

Okay I lied I also picked up this chunker because a good friend recommended it to me. Have to take recs seriously! 💙📚

💙📚 Book 10 of 2025: The Fall by Ryan Cahill ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hard to judge anything based on just 90 pages, especially set centuries before the main book series, but @ryancahill.bsky.social did his job and left me wanting more. Might have rated higher if I'd read Of Blood and Fire first for better context.

💙📚 Book 9 of 2025: The Echo Man by Sam Holland ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Writer of Dark Stuff" indeed. That's going to sit for a while. Really thought I had it worked out halfway through and at least twice thereafter, should have known better. Bravo @samhollandbooks.bsky.social, excellent stuff.

Reckon I could have picked up half a dozen paperbacks easily from that little tour around Waterstones but have settled for one hardback I was excited for instead! The Outcast Mage by Annabel Campbell 📚💙

Four day weekend for me now wooo, little break in London for a few days.

💙📚 Book 8 of 2025: Yellowface by Rebecca F Kuang ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really enjoyed this one, first of hers I've read although I've got Babel and The Poppy War in the wings. Intrigued to see her take on a fantasy setting, the smaller contained story worked really well so excited to see her bigger stories.

I find new stuff I want to read at a far quicker pace than I can do the actual reading part. This is not a problem.

💙📚 Book 7 of 2025: The Cloisters by Katy Hays ⭐️⭐️ So very underwhelming. At least I didn't question my life choices like I did with The Atlas Complex, and the copy I read was this very sleek Goldsboro edition.

*stares agonisingly at the growing TBR pile on StoryGraph* *reads a new list and adds four more books* ...it's not just me right? 💙📚

💙📚 Book Mail! Another stunner from Page & Wick - genuinely think they've knocked it out the park on every edition since June/July last year. This time it's Harley Laroux's Her Soul To Take. The foiling, the edges, what a beauty! 😍

💙📚 Book 6 of 2025: Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'm already unsure about this rating as I type it. It felt a lot like Iron Gold where I appreciate it's a part of a bigger picture I don't have yet, but I didn't like it as much as the first two and have a lot of questions now.

💙📚 January Round Up from StoryGraph, not sure I've ever done 5 books in a month so pleasing start. Well on the way to my 40 target for the year.
