i think one of my favorite things about the original sonic.exe story is how blatantly obvious it is that jc hyena was really really hoping someone would make a game adaptation and was very subtly putting directions for how to make it throughout the story

so i think i've figured out the trick to helping myself get a song done with start with the drums. get some drum patterns going that sound good through the whole thing and that'll make it way easier to feel the vibe of whatever part of the song ur making and get the instruments in there
