Ugh, the battle for my self-worth is always especially difficult when people do things like leaving me out of the loop - has a tendency to bring to mind thoughts of things such as, "I guess I'm not important enough to be informed." And then the downward spirals from there... "I don't matter," etc.

At my job we have a Biggest Loser contest. We pay $20 to join & weigh in every 2 weeks. If you gain, you have to pay in $5 that week. At the end, the top 2 (by percentage lost) take home the $ prizes. Last year, Jan-July I lost 34lbs & got 2nd place. Then Aug-Nov, I lost another 29lbs & got 1st!

Blocking someone often means protecting yourself and your peace. It’s not about ‘winning’, causing harm and/or feud/s.
