I haven't seen a single post on here talking about o3 what is going on?

The "use tail sampling for your traces" advice should probably also come with a strong "you must be this tall to ride this ride" caveat Simple if you have a monolith, challenging if you have a cluster of microservices, jesus take the wheel if you have geo-distributed traces crossing regions

just saw a $30m seed round we're so back

this is extra nice

I have turned into the person saying "I both agree and disagree with your statement" at least 5 times a day am I corpo now?

thread on how we built real-time logs in the developer plat with just durable objects 😁

Documentation: "Don't do this. This is a really bad idea." Developer:

land in London and first thing you see is rain fitting

working on some ideas for tutorial lessons on @cloudflare.social Durable Objects for @egghead.io so many use cases 🤯

please bkmark on bsky 🙏

what's most likely to become the norm? - a cheap unreliable solution - an expensive reliable solution

call you cf workers directly from claude this is interesting

Been working on making it possible to connect Claude Desktop to a Cloudflare Worker using the new MCP spec, and it works! You write some functions in a Worker, document them with JSDoc, and then they show up in Claude for you to use. It's kinda magical. github.com/geelen/worke...

A few selfies with old co-workers Marc Brooker @dyanacek.bsky.social and new friend @boristane.bsky.social. Included a banana for scale so you can get a sense of the magnitude of re:invent.

If you're at re:Invent and want to chat about Aurora DSQL, I'll be at the AWS databases booth in the Expo for a couple hours starting around noon.

Loving this intro to wide events from @boristane.bsky.social Wide events provide deep context into system behavior and can replace redundant tools in the org. I'm a big fan of going to observability tools first over product analytics. There's more info and now everyone is looking at the same graph.

@boristane.bsky.social cloudflare logs is, by far, the best working product within cloudflare. I hope your team can also fix error tracking, which is almost impossible to set up correctly :)

kinda surreal 3 years ago I decided to start piping my logs to clickhouse and today I'm speaking at re:invent

I'm hanging out at the @cloudflare.social booth at re:invent come say hi if you're here! 😁

product management is about to be fundamentally changed it's ripe for ai disruption

I've never been this jet lagged damn
