Damn. I don’t really love any of these other pitchers, hopefully they get Buehler for 1 year then get cease or someone else next year.

What do you think their current chances are?

Is that sourced information or just reading the tea leaves?

If you can get him on a say a 4 year deal do it immediately. Maybe even on a 5 year

Give me Burnes/Flaherty, a catcher, another bat, and a reliever and let’s go make a run at this thing
comment in response to post
Getting Crochet without Mayer is unbelievably, I am very happy about this
comment in response to post
We’re gonna get Burnes at least! Nothing to worry about.
comment in response to post
If we don’t get him(or Burnes) I don’t really see a path to a successful offseason

Maybe I’m wrong but I genuinely think unless NYY include Dominguez or NYM include Sproat a package centered around Abreu would be the best offer. I don’t wanna give up the farm but if Wilyer + gets it done do it and extend him.

I’d imagine he’s talking about Teoscar and Imanaga right?

Him or Vladdy next to be in Boston in 2026. No excuse for them not to do it
comment in response to post
They will not trade him. I really think he’s gonna take them to FA though and if so we need to sign him. Devers needs a true sidekick, Vladdy certainly would be that guy
comment in response to post
That would be awesome

Look man I’m sad we didn’t get Soto but the AL is so wide open, the Yankees were the best team last year and will probably just be very mid now
comment in response to post
If our master plan is to trade Casas and then give Alonso a 7 year deal I’m gonna fucking lose it. Please don’t be a moron Breslow.
comment in response to post
Good. If we miss on Soto focus on pitching, unless you can trade for Seiya then do that too
comment in response to post
If we don’t get Soto Suzuki needs to be a priority. This FA market sucks, he’d be the 2nd best bat
comment in response to post
*didn’t want to be here
comment in response to post
Also there are rumors he wanted didn’t really wanna be here unless it was a very very big offer. Not sure how true it is but
comment in response to post
Cause we are morons and didn’t extend him early and didn’t want to get taken to FA and pay full retail price. Especially since we were entering a self imposed rebuild. Basically Henry did not want to do a mega deal and Dombro had no care for the long term future of the team, only short term winning.
comment in response to post
Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t actually think Breslow is this stupid. Won’t happen

Covington blows. Our front 7 is such a joke too. At least our young non Gonzo cbs were good today. Gonzo himself is a stud obviously too

Ryan Day is the biggest loser of all time. I hope he’s the Ohio State coach for life. I’m still in shock
comment in response to post
I’m not gonna panick yet but if we don’t get Fried…
comment in response to post
Seems like signing one of those guys might be a good idea. Maybe even 2 of them!

The fact any one still defends Don Sweeney is insane to me. He had a good stretch of moves from the Hall trade to the 23 deadline but thats about it. He’s the reason 37, 46, and 63 retired/will retire with 1 cup and also why 88 and 73 will likely get 0. Disastrous drafter, can’t be a GM for a retool
comment in response to post
There is no overspending on Juan Soto. He’s worth whatever he gets
comment in response to post
Most importantly, a new DC and unfortunately, probably a HC too
comment in response to post
Holy shit

Soto?
