Here is a list of the 79 members of Congress who voted in favor of discussing impeachment today. If your Representative is on this list, let them know how much you appreciate them, and that they have your full support! They upheld their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution.

If your rep voted yes, please call and ask why!

This was reposted by @trahan.house.gov She knows Trump is guilty of unconstitutional actions. We know he is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. So why did she just vote to table an impeachment inquiry in the House? And why did so many @housedemocrats.bsky.social also vote to table?

lol

imagine if this worked. IMAGINE IF THIS WORKED. imagine if the Epstein Caucus is defeated in an absolute tidal wave of voters who want their electeds to CARE and DO THINGS. imagine primarying all the nation’s Schumers and Pelosis with people who understand they work for us and take that seriously

"Chuck! Chuck, it's Marvin! Your cousin, Marvin Schumer? You know that new set of balls you've been looking for? Well, listen, you better find them fast or you're gonna need a time machine for them to be of any use!"

I needed to read this today. Thought someone else might need it too.

Wow, stunning headline from the Times tonight.

Why are no headlines focusing on the unconstitutional and dictatorial nature of this action?

Masked ICE agents spotted swapping out license plates this morning in Bell Gardens, CA

6/21, Los Angeles: A neighborhood volunteer documenting ICE was stopped by agents in an unmarked car, surrounded, and threatened by masked agents while they filmed him on their phones.

Like the movie Jaws, I am turning 50 this year. Was recently flipping through the letters of Raymond Chandler and found this passage in a letter to his English publisher Hamish Hamilton in December 1949, cut me right to the quick!

I'm glad Juneteenth is a federal holiday. The abolition of chattel slavery was an important step toward a free and just country and it should be celebrated. But we never actually ended slavery in America...and now, possibly, its practice could be expanded. sentientmedia.org/people-in-ic...

this is a fucking disgrace. ICE out of Chavez Ravine now

Every time I think this can't get any more disgusting.

Reposting this Vance meme. No reason.

When I was still on Facebook, xenophobes would share horror stories about immigration, and when I debunked them, would tell me, "Even if it didn't happen, the point is that it COULD." In that same spirit I'll point out, even if JD Vance never fucked a couch, it's obviously something he WOULD do.

There's a lot made of JD Vance growing up poor and in squalor but I'll tell you, the places he lived might have been a bit run down, but they had some of the nicest furniture anyone ever came across

A pic both RFK Junior and JD Vance Junior can relate to

The only sensible takeaway here is that the NYT believes the idea that JV Vance fucked a couch is plausible and believable in a way Trump's abortion statements are not. And I agree. Seems very likely in fact that Vance fucked a couch.

Bro, you gotta block that guy, not because he sucks, but because he’s only here to get you to say stuff to him that will get you in legal trouble.

This is a vital message: one of the larger reasons BlueSky is refreshingly free of alt-right shitlords is because in the early days we made a gentleperson’s agreement to starve these fuckos out and it worked. No likes, no quotes, no engagement. They got bored and left. Please keep the Old Ways.

Heightened Scrutiny, a very good doc about the Supreme Court case that was just ruled on, does an impeccable and infuriating job laying out just how culpable the NYT and Atlantic are for the nation’s transphobia www.avclub.com/sundance-202...

The NYT's anti-trans fear mongering was cited in a Supreme Court briefing that stripped away the rights of trans kids. They need to be fully blacklisted by queer people and their allies. Don't work for them. Don't use them for book press. Don't speak with them for stories. They made their bed.

I came out to my parents at 11, and was told it wasn't an option until I turned 18. I tried my best to live the lie, but at 14 my parents had to rush me to the hospital to keep me here. It took that event for people to listen. I started HRT at 16 and it turned my life around. protect trans kids

Omfg. Look at this guy's other bylines.

Just called my two Senators. Please do the same.

I dunno, as a Springsteen fan who has been listening to him for almost 40 years and seen him play more than a dozen times, the idea of turning on my TV to watch someone pretend to be him is fairly absurd. Felt the same way about Muhammad Ali, tbh.

millenials watching america about to be dragged into an endless middle east war off specious reasoning and dangerous rhetoric

“A U.S. citizen!” And now he’s missing. Adrian Martinez tried to defend a man ICE was harassing. Video shows six agents swarming him. He struggles but doesn’t lay hands on them. They take him to the ground & shove him into a CBP vehicle. Abuse of power. Keep recording. Don’t stop. (1 of 2)
