I may have spent Valentine's day in #FFXIV, fighting the couple in the first - Ryne and Gaia. They kindly asked me to though, so it's okay. also THEY KICKED MY ASS HOLY HELL (FRU)

Guess who disappeared again because yet another Final Fantasy game has its clutches on me. I swear, you could hang the most obvious "This is a trap" sign in front of me and if you told me there was even a chance a Final Fantasy game I haven't played was before me, I'd still walk right into it.

Sometimes I feel like what I make will always be lesser than my peers. That I'll always just be mediocre or worse. I'm reminded then that I am an amateur. And the word amateur means "for the love of." I don't need to make something amazing, I just need to enjoy the process. And that alone has value.

Every time I play through #Majora'sMask there's always a new moment that sticks out or resonates wirh me. This time for some reason it's learning the Goron's lullaby. Perhaps I share some of the same anxieties with the scared Goron child, about the fleeting nature of the lives of loved ones.
