Today I became an unaffiliated voter. I sat in a Polis fundraiser where he said he was running to protect us from the GOP. We could have had Andrew Romanoff in the Senate, but the DNC shoved him out. Bennet and Hickenlooper confirmed almost half the cabinet. This is betrayal. Rich white men FTW

Judge Chutkan's statements were made at a January 6 sentencing, based entirely on evidence in those proceedings. The defendants argued they were following Trump's instructions, so Judge Chutkan addressed that. Accordingly, Liteky v. US applies, and the bar for recusal is quite high.
