What a wonderful way to start Monday evening!

It’s a full house at The Usk Valley Whisky Club tonight, the first three drams are poured, and there’s 46 people ready to learn about @boutiqueywhisky.bsky.social

Good evening from The Usk Valley Whisky Club 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Making the most of this warm sunny Sunday 💨 #BusyDoingNothing

Celebrating an excellent afternoon of entertaining rugby with a beautiful drop of Glen Moray 21 Year Old Portwood. France were on fire in Dublin, and Wales put in a good show in Edinburgh. Slàinte! 🥃🥃

Good morning from a very bright and sunny deepest mid Bedfordshire! I’m London bound today with a (big) pocket full of rye. I’ll be in BB&R from midday, do drop by for a splash of Kyrö if you’re free

Cocktails in front of the fire tonight. #Haufanahauf

Another fine pair, although it wasn’t without a little kerfuffle. The bloody oven has packed up, so hopefully I can repair it next week. Otherwise, I’ll need a new one 😢

Good morning you lovely lot! It’s a mighty fine day for making bread. Was Ethelbread ready?

A pint of Worthington’s finest was drawn yesterday. Cask strength, natural colour, and non-chill filtered. Oh, and hand pricked too… Please sign up and donate if you can. Thank you x

Good morning you lovely lot! Blue skies and sunshine over deepest mid Bedfordshire today 😃 A coffee and a cheeky cigar in the sunshine would be perfect, but I’ve got things to do… How are we all?

This morning Dave has been brought to you by some banging anthems, and mood…. open.spotify.com/playlist/11l...

Good morning friends. It was a very sad day, saying farewell to my cousin’s husband yesterday. Childhood sweethearts who first met at a church youth club when they were just 13. Diagnosed in September, cancer ripped through his body in a matter of months. He was just the nicest guy…

Good morning friends! Good Lord, this coffee is excellent! Sunday brunch incoming, and it’s a another perfect avocado too 🙌 #Winning

I’ve got to watch the Wales vs Ireland game now, as that was a great mix to listen to

I’m not sure the best team won today though. Scotland were superb, and played some excellent rugby while England sat back and watched at times. Three tries to one tells the real story, and if those conversions were taken, it’d be a clear Scotland victory

Two great games of rugby this afternoon. I decided not to watch the Welsh game, so just listened to the commentary while out walking. The England Vs Scotland was a nail biter all the way through.

Great tasting at Milk Bar in Reading with @boutiqueywhisky.bsky.social & @boutiqueydave.bsky.social tonight. Think the Peated highland & the 13 yo single grain were my favorites. But all really interesting and plenty to discover in their core range

Sunday brunch is the most important meal of the day, and made even better with a perfect avocado! More good news: it’s not raining in deepest mid Bedfordshire 🙌 Morning 👋

Fascinating insight into making Scotch whisky from 1945! Thanks to Graham Fraser for posting the link in a FB group last night. youtu.be/gZi62yRzWZg?...

Welcome to another dreich day here in deepest mid Bedfordshire, with only a glimpse of sunshine predicted next Monday. Hope I don’t blink and miss it!

Good morning friends, how are we all? Yes of course there’s coffee ☕️

February is like living in a black & white movie in deepest mid Bedfordshire. Everything is different shades of grey… No rain today, but no sunlight either, and even the daylight was grey 😂

It’s been a dreich day here in deepest mid Bedfordshire again, today. It looks as if it’s going to be the same for the next six days, with no sunshine forecast until next Monday.. *sighs*

Sundays are best started with a hearty brunch! A pint of Guinness to wash it down should keep me going for this afternoon’s game 🏉

Another delve into that back cupboard has yielded a 17 year old secret Orkney form WFFA. I think this was bottled in 2017 There’s a big hit of Parma Violets from this on the palate.
