I was to start a new job today, working from home, but had to go into the office for the initial day. The office is on the first floor, no lift. Me and stairs don't see eye to eye.

I remember talking to a Dutch man in southern Thailand back in 2004. He was telling me how he expected Burma to be the next Thailand, in terms of tourism, and was trying to be part of it. I wouldn't like to see his bank account now.

I have a severe brain injury. To look at me the only way I look different is the scars on my head.

My daughter (9) is called Amelie as well and trying to get my father to pronounce it properly was impossible. In the end we just stopped correcting him a let him call her whatever.

Paul is this a fair reflection on your parties stance on disability/disability payments?

Nothing from @finegaelparty.bsky.social, the Green Party, @sinnfeinireland.bsky.social, Labour Party, @socialdemocrats.bsky.social, People Before Profit and @aontu.bsky.social. They won't be getting my vote if I don't get a response

I did email all the major parties (and @sandyformeath.bsky.social) last week in connection to a problem that me and many many other disabled people in #Ireland are having. I received a response from @fiannafailparty.bsky.social, but that was it.

I found when I was in an apartment (Dublin/Sligo) I wouldn't get anyone. I'm in a village now, I expected someone.

Not many countries out there that the US would stand so steadfast behind. Whatever tinted glasses they are wearing is obscuring reality.

I emailed the Labour Party earlier this week about a disability related problem I, and many other disabled people have, but I received no response.

Yeah, I agree. There is a 3 year warranty on mine and it will be 3 years old early next year. A lot of scepticism in Ireland and ev's.

I currently have two ev's for sale and to tell you that I couldn't give them away is an understatement.

They reduced the EV grant in Ireland a couple of years ago from €5000 to €3500. A lot less new ev's on the road since.
