The response times, formatting, and volume of replies Nelly has produced suggests that they are a chat bot. I suggest asking her to be specific about "which teams".

So your break-even point is an interest rate decrease of 0.25% on a $300,000 loan. Those penalties really aren't much compared to a significant change in interest rate. Don't believe the "locked in" myth! Do the math and talk to a financial advisor once interest rates have moved!

Right, Canada. The U.S. eliminated prepayment penalties. In Canada, your penalty should be the higher of:
- An amount equal to 3 months’ interest on what you still owe
- The interest rate differential (IRD)

Squarespace is exploiting the inconvenience of domain registration transfers to wring extra money from their customers. Consider a commercial provider with transparent renewal pricing, like Cloudflare who's only charging $25/year

Even then, one person and one conversation can't overcome the countless hours of Sinclair Broadcasting "news" they've watched. If you have to talk to them, protect yourself, set boundaries, and look for common values to keep the conversation positive. If you have to. :(

It's been effective (in my experience and in academic studies) to confront people like your mom with the direct personal experiences of someone they care about. "Mom, your niece couldn't get an abortion because of Trump's supreme court justices. Your nephew was pepper sprayed at a peaceful protest."

You're on the right track, understanding that what they see is different (because of the people around them and the media they consume). They're victims of a system that was built to distract and misinform people, to prevent us from helping each other or mobilizing to protect each other.

This is the old one (when I say old, I mean it, it's almost old enough to drive a car)
One other thing is that this one's pages are so thin, ink bleeds through them. It's a bummer because the paper is as smooth as glass and has a nice ivory color.
