Dead naming is only acceptable when talking about the Gulf of Mexico.

As Fred Hampton said, "*Education is the key… because if they take away your guns, you can pick up rocks. But if they take away your education, you can’t do anything*." In these uncertain times, the greatest weapon you can wield is knowledge. www.ilrc.org/red-cards-ta...

I'm applying for a really rad job tomorrow. I should have a compelling enough resume to at least land an interview. It'll be incredibly rewarding work, a significant pay increase, and most importantly:since I'll no longer be looking, a reason to delete my LinkedIn.

On my pile of things to finish this year: the cybARchonk monolithic lower. This is my first "designed from scratch" gun project. The first test has worked great, but there are a number of small things to fix. (Plus my daughter has demanded I add some Miku graphics to it).

Zhengdan complete. I am now a #RedNote veteran.

Friends, we've had a few days to lock our wounds, but we also know the blows aren't going to stop. Don't despair and give into doomerism (that's what they want). Instead, pour your anxiety and rage into making your community better. Feed the homeless. Tutor newcomers. Build the world they won't.

I disassembled my Partisan-9 for a repair, which made for a great chance to snap some pictures of the ECM rifling on the DIY barrel. No buttons or reamers were used—only printed parts, electricity, and salt water. #3D2A #Firearms #BeTheMeansOfProduction

Did you know that making your own firearms (Privately Made Firearms, or PMFs) is both fun and easy? You can build from scratch, with ongun parts, or build a hybrid that mixes in traditional bits. Neoliberal concepts of gun control are based on restricting the ability to *buy* guns (1)

I asked my daughter—age 12 and enrolled in an advanced school—to open a can of corn.

Friends, there is a lot going on these days and I know you are having *feelings* about it. I wanted to take a moment to tell you your gut is right. You should be angry. You are justified in your anger. Don't let them gaslight you into thinking you deserve less or that you should sit this one out.

I also designed and printed an insert for my cheap IFAK pouch, so the back sits flat and no longer has exposed Velcro to fray my other gear. #PracticalPrinting

Had a productive day today. I modelled a d printed a replacement part for a rocking chair restoration my Dad is working on. Two sections that will be joined with a dowel (and glue). I'll print the final version in woodfill PLA.

Reading more Fanon this morning, it stood out to me how this dynamic isn't limited to race. All our subgroups and communities follow the same dialectic struggle for recognition and identity. To use his words, we are comparison societies, thus defined through the eyes of others.

I hope you all have fun working through 2025. It looks like I'll be retiring early!

Have you ever asked yourself if you know what terms like #Fascism, #Socialism, #Liberal, #Conservative actually mean? As in, if asked, could you provide a coherent and accurate definition? It's hard to fight for or against things you cannot define.

This is true of economic collapse, climate change, and any other highly disruptive event. 'Lone wolf' survivors are a fiction stereotype. Community is how we (as a species) have—and will continue to—survive.

My steel targets didn't come in, so it was cardboard and cardio today, but still a fun trip. We loaded each other's mags, so we'd have a reload in there somewhere, but not know when.

2025 is the year I'm committing to working with new shooters to become safe and proficient. I bought this TX22 as a "let's learn the basics" platform, before shifting them up to 9mm and red dots. I know there are a lot of reasons to be anxious about the coming years, but I'm excited about this.
