I usually bring my now 2yo daughter to the basement to help me grab wine. I caller her my "smallier" (a small sommelier) Today I said "let's go get some wine" and then I got sidetracked and forgot about the wine. Later she kept asking "where win?" Took me a while to realize "win" was "wine" πŸ·πŸ˜‚

Pretty please don't write useless commit messages, y'all. "updates" cool.

Stand for what you believe in

Go has a testing.TB interface type. The rot13 of "TB" is "GO" Maybe we need a TB.Cure() method on the interface to un-fail a test. πŸ€”

Maserati bumper sticker: "No baby on board so feel free to run into me."

I only respect april fools jokes that commit to the bit. This? This is commitment.

LiveJournal (my old baby) won a Webby award 21 years ago! news.livejournal.com/79150.html Maybe I'll see a second one.... πŸ˜‰

Who makes custom sweaters that are actually knit and not just a bit piece of brittle stiff printed plastic ironed on to a shirt? (Trying to get ahead of holiday sweater season this year.)

I love how "outfield" in 1st grader baseball isn't standing "out" far enough to be in the grass yet. This is the first game of the year. Hilarious chaos all around.

$ for x in $(seq 1 40); do dig +short -x 198.49.126.$x | sed 's/danga.com//'; sleep 0.3; done

2yo running around looking for something, repeating desperately: "Dyay baby aburrido?? Dyay baby aburrido??" We knew her "dyay" means "where" and "baby X" means "my X" or "X for baby" But what is aburrido? We finally figured it out-- "3D printer"! We lost a prototype part she'd adopted as a toy

#TBT still a thing? Because I just came across this old photo so I'm going to say it is.

I thought we had a "bufferbloat" emoji in our Slack so I went to search for it. And not what I expected. Now I want to see the emoji alias table that Slack is using. Does anybody know if that's public? (e.g. that "thanks" also yields "pray", etc. not strictly substrings, as this screenshot shows)

It had been about 20 years, but I made it back in to see an optometrist for an eye check today. Still got it! πŸ€˜πŸ¦…πŸ‘οΈ But I was warned that I basically have about 5 years left until it's downhill. πŸ˜…

"watching paint dry" is an expression for something boring but watching 3D printers is basically that but relatively exciting!

No, VSP, the reason I logged in to your incompetent web site was to get my member ID number, see? I haven't gotten an eye check in like 25 years and figured it was time but they need my insurance info. You had one job. I click "See" or "Download" or "Email" my ID card & I want to see my ID card.
