I usually bring my now 2yo daughter to the basement to help me grab wine. I caller her my "smallier" (a small sommelier) Today I said "let's go get some wine" and then I got sidetracked and forgot about the wine. Later she kept asking "where win?" Took me a while to realize "win" was "wine" 🍷😂

Go has a testing.TB interface type. The rot13 of "TB" is "GO" Maybe we need a TB.Cure() method on the interface to un-fail a test. 🤔

2yo running around looking for something, repeating desperately: "Dyay baby aburrido?? Dyay baby aburrido??" We knew her "dyay" means "where" and "baby X" means "my X" or "X for baby" But what is aburrido? We finally figured it out-- "3D printer"! We lost a prototype part she'd adopted as a toy

I thought we had a "bufferbloat" emoji in our Slack so I went to search for it. And not what I expected. Now I want to see the emoji alias table that Slack is using. Does anybody know if that's public? (e.g. that "thanks" also yields "pray", etc. not strictly substrings, as this screenshot shows)

No, VSP, the reason I logged in to your incompetent web site was to get my member ID number, see? I haven't gotten an eye check in like 25 years and figured it was time but they need my insurance info. You had one job. I click "See" or "Download" or "Email" my ID card & I want to see my ID card.
