Another planter/saucer pair glazed and ready for the gas kiln! For this set, first coat of shirley shino, outer coat of sweet cream then dipped the rim in blue ash. Excited by the crackling of the blue ash glaze in the saucer.. will post the result next week! #ceramics #pottery #art #clay #glaze

Most of the planters are now glazed :). This one, along with its saucer, has a coat of shino, then a stripe of wax resist just below the rim, followed by a coat of glossy blue (mulu blue) , and another coat half way down of a glossy green (barbaras green)… excited to see how it turns out!
