Here's something you don't see every day: the Warriors just had both a 16-0 and an 11-0 run in the same quarter. And before you smartasses say it, yes, they were DIFFERENT runs.

I don't mean this to disparage any fans or players, and I don't at all mean it as a victory lap, but ... I still can't believe how many people thought Jimmy Butler III wasn't better than Andrew Wiggins.

When I found out that the Mavs traded Luka Dončić I thought it was the stupidest trade in NBA history, but after cooling down and reflecting on it for a few weeks, I think I was underselling just how stupid it was

The gutsiness is at least admirable. If I were the owner of an NBA team and the GM or coach suggested trading Luka Dončić I would not hear them out. I would fire them on the spot.

All this bullshit immediately crumbles when it's presented to anyone who's not a sympathetic cohost on your podcast

Out of nowhere, I am once again thinking about how Reggie Jackson went to high school with Netanyahu.

In his 4th and 5th games with the Warriors, Jimmy Butler III had just the 74th instance in NBA history of back-to-back games with at least 30 minutes played and neither a turnover nor a foul.

The Warriors win tonight was just the 14th time -- ever -- that they've won a game by double figures in which Steph Curry didn't have a positive +/-.

Here's your fun and stupid and meaningless NBA fact of the day. Prior to today, only one player in NBA history (Semi Ojeleye in 2020) had shot exactly 8-11 from the field, 5-8 from three, and 1-1 from the free throw line in a game. On Friday, teammates Moses Moody and Buddy Hield both did it.

The very same people who deny natural selection sure do love partaking in it

The account @lanana421.bsky.social is maintaining several lists, including one list targeted at Palestinians and those who boost fundraisers for "supposed Gaza families", and another list for "Dem bashers". Would recommend blocking this account to reduce harassment.

lmao

There’s really, truly, only one way to fix the All-Star Game. Scrap the basketball altogether and make it a cooking competition. Every player gets a mystery box with regional ingredients from their team’s city. Gordon Ramsay and Guy Fieri can judge.

Scrap the All-Star Game entirely and just give me an hour straight of Kyrie Irving trying to score against Wembanyama

Jayson Tatum looking around after every basket to see if Steve Kerr is in the building

All due respect to this panel but they were not named to the Inside the NBA main crew so I'm not sure they should be out there on the hallowed set for All-Star Sunday.

This Kevin Hart stuff is awful …. BUT …. I’m not opposed to a Friday or Saturday event wherein a dais of comedians roasts the All-Stars
