I haven’t been this bummed about a DC closure since Cap Lounge shuttered. I’ve been going here myself for 15 years; my husband and I went to countless movies together here for 10+ years. Wonderful little theater. Fun food. Saw so many fantastic movies there. Very sad end of an era. 😔

“improvements to the map backgrounds” Good Christ. One of my great uncles (may he RIP) was a well-known photogrammetrist who designed the cameras that took pictures of the Moon landing; thank God he doesn’t have to watch this horror show unfold. He’s rolling over in his grave as it is.
