If you're on Prozac and you have a dog, get your dog a matching Prozac prescription. If that asshole cuts off my access to a med that keeps me from being the crankiest person alive, my dog is going to need to sacrifice for the greater good. Thunderstorms and fireworks be damned.

A shout out to everyone with difficult mothers. One of my friends is flying out to see her narcissistic mother who is currently unresponsive w/pneumonia. Another friend just got told by her mother to never contact her again. These older generations who never worked on their issues. Ugh.

#Adoptee here. The very idea of a registry of infant suppliers—of breeders for baby buyers—is fascism. Coercing people to relinquish to strangers the children they were forced to give birth to does not redress the injustice of forcing births; it compounds the injustice.

In the Galapagos, we came upon a blue-footed booby hanging out with a #pelican. A little ways down the outcropping was what I suspect was the other booby's original partner, now keeping company with a #marineiguana and questioning his life choices. #marinelife #galapagos #booby

I've become the Chicagoan who leaves the house on a 12°F day without my hat and it's only slightly annoying. This would have been a much graver mistake if I wasn't driving. I did spend quite a bit of time outside loading and unloading hundreds of lbs of food from my car, though.
