I was interviewed today re: the relevance of the Declaration of Independence People think "When in the Course of Human Events" is the imp't part. The preamble. But the meat is the long list of sins the King committed vs the colonists. They believed their rights were being violated by a tyrant.

you there! Woman bleeding out in your car bc you were denied reproductive care… look up! It’s a rocket— full of GALS!

🎯

Every college and university should do this to remind Americans that attacks on these institutions are actually attacks on all of us.

It is essential for the rule of law that everyone involved in this end up in prison. Nothing else is a sufficient deterrent against the intentional, repeated abuse of government power to systematically deny fundamental rights.

It looks very much like the Department of Homeland Security memo seeking to revoke Ozturk's visa copied language directly from the Canary Mission website. Is DHS just following the "deport list" from an anonymous website? donmoynihan.substack.com/p/the-attack...

Can't cite a video, can't spell a Plaintiff's name...These mistakes would cost a law school intern their summer spot, but the Acting GC of DHS? He's set. This is just unimaginable incompetence along with unimaginable cruelty.

And if you witness those claiming to be ICE without any legitimate identification trying to kidnap someone, RAISE HELL. Act as though they’ll be murdered if taken, because that very well may be killed. So far, the only thing that’s stopped them is the community raising hell. Get loud, raise hell.

This is our Gestapo.

Once again, the trump administration believes it is not obligated to comply with court orders it's appealing. The administration is wrong, and actively in contempt.

I do think that, should we make it to 2028, a central part of the campaign will be a commitment to immediate prosecution. The anti-Merrick, if you will.

Calm down, folks, it was just an attempted assassination of a Jewish Democratic governor and his family on the first night of Passover, it’s not like somebody spray painted a dick on a Cybertruck.

Trump dismisses the Russia Palm Sunday terrorist attack on Ukraine's Sumy as just "a mistake", despite Russia double tapping on civilians and visibly celebrating the massacre online.

This video shows the fire damage inside the Pennsylvania Governor’s mansion. Governor Shapiro’s reaction to the arson attack is on my timeline.

This ICE declarant “understands” nothing. There is no such thing as post-hoc invalidation of a lawful grant of withholding due to a future act which makes a person ineligible. If they want to get rid of it, they have to go through a process. They didn’t.

L - The official photo from the Kremlin of US Special Envoy @SteveWitkoff putting his hand over his heart as he greets his friend Vladimir Putin again this week. R - Putin’s latest missile attack killing at least 21 people, including 7 children, on Palm Sunday. Putin’s stooge.

Hours ago, @politico.com revealed that DOGE is working with DHS on automating mass deportation efforts — likely explaining why many US citizens, green card holders, and even a Canadian (in Canada) got threatening emails last night terminating “your parole” and telling them to leave the US in 7 days.

🚨 ⚠️ WELP ⚠️ 🚨 I think we know one of the reasons DOGE was infiltrating the federal payroll systems. Multiple sources are telling me that their union dues are no longer being deducted from their paychecks.

They told you there would be a “giant wave of accountability stories.” Instead, it’s pieces like this, more fluffing of Chris Rufo, op-eds on why 🇨🇦 should sacrifice its sovereignty, Dealbook pieces on whether Lebensraum is a good investment, & takes on how dapper the racist rapist SecDef is 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Simpson Thatcher, you fucking cowards.

The State Department is asking employees to report any "anti-Christian bias" they experienced during theBiden administration, Politico reports and I've independently confirmed. www.politico.com/news/2025/04... Images of the snitch portal they set up that were shared with me:

I had a lengthy talk about this yesterday. There's a reason all of the talking heads keep saying big law is the best - they're big law lawyers. But those of us who regularly litigate against big law know that these aren't actually the best litigators, they're often some of the worst. Just richer.

Everyone in any litigation against these firms should find a way to integrate their traitorous agreement into suit. Every company paying them should fire them asap. Cowards, all of you, Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, A&O Shearman, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.

Kirkland & Ellis, Allen Overy Shearman Sterling, Simpson Thatcher, and Latham & Watkins should be viewed as administration shills now. It would be a mistake to engage them in any matter in which your interests and positions are not congruent with this administration’s.

Welp, got an answer to this question: Apparently the answer is no tariffs are being collected. Trump broke the system www.cnbc.com/2025/04/11/c...

The happenings of this hearing are making clear what I've feared and expressed for a couple weeks now: ee have no reason to believe that Mr. Abrego Garcia is alive. I am livid, unsurprised, and frothing at the mouth for justice.

Share this everywhere. I believe there should be immigration enforcement. I believe there shld be an immigration enforcement agency. But this one is simply lawless to the core. That fact is just inescapable.

Oh, the irony 😂—talk about paid protesters! MAGA has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk in Pennsylvania, alleging he failed to pay individuals who gathered signatures for a petition during the 2024 presidential campaign.

This government is not legitimate.

Imagining what six justices found objectionable about the straightforward statement of Justices Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson chills me to my core.

"looks like you've had a bit too much to think"

I’m positive the men of this country (and also most of the women bc the chaos has made this 2nd page news) have not considered what happens if the Senate passes the SAVE Act and strips the right to vote from tens of millions of women. It doesn’t end with women not being able to vote, illtellyathat.

🚨House Republicans just passed a bill that would disenfranchise 70 million married American women. Under the SAVE Act, women who took their spouse’s last name and don't have an updated passport or birth certificate would be turned away at the polls.

Fools and cowards, every one. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/10/u...

Welcome to the era of thought crimes.

Beware the death spiral

It's increasingly clear to me that for a subset of the legal world, human rights and the rule of law can be set aside out of academic interest, the drive to get ahead, and ideology.

what a delightfully charming oopsie from the septuagenarian with the nuclear codes 👍👍 www.cbsnews.com/news/h-r-mcm...

Now would also be a great time to initiate a massive attack on the United States. Our national security apparatus has been decimated, and this admin will never be able to muster a coherent response. If anyone wanted to hurt even more than we’re hurting ourselves, there’s never been a better time.
