I think this is the most beautiful frame on the interplay of language and emotion. In the vastness of our experiences - the shipwrecks, the riptides, the storms - there's a critical moment when what we're feeling washes into language. That's the moment everything changes

This is exactly how I love to read and, sadly, how I rarely find myself actually reading. There's such a universal craving for deep reading, deep thinking, and deep connection - all requiring deep time, which is rare in a world of shallow distraction.

Grounded in and tethered by love. I can't think of a better way to hold on when the water gets swift and deep.
