@justinwolfers.bsky.social I recall in my Economics classes in the 80’s, we did a Total Tax Burden analysis - Canada vs USA. It was a rough (paper napkin) analysis, but the Tax Burden was actually lower in Canada. But it’s a different definition of Tax. 1/? (I’m typing live, so not sure how many)
