Blocked these guys' ads from appearing on our Yotube videos during this final week ahead of election day—depriving them of one more billboard is worth the lost revenue. Hope other YouTube creators can afford to do the same

I was thinking about when Facebook was new and allowed us to reconnect with old friends. And when Twitter was new allowed us to make new friends. And how fulfilling this need for human connection was something the tech overlords could manipulate to get rich enough to ruin it all.

Must be frustrating. The Coalition know there are votes in poverty. But they don't know any poor people. #AusVotes2025

(1/4) It was America and Britain that guaranteed the sovereignty of Ukraine and its borders in return for persuading them to give up their nuclear weapons.

Pay attention dickheads: Unless you are Indigenous you are a colonist or migrant. We don’t own the land. Welcome to Country refers to a SPECIFIC area of the country, not the whole thing. WTC predates European settlement, Ernie Dingo did not “invent it”.

He said / Xi said…nothing.

Oh well, at least he's winning something.

The mood has shifted. Australia's most trusted pollies are now both independents.

Possibly the best interview of all-time

I’m voting today, and as a smart friend reminded me, smart people decide their own preferences #Auspol #Australia #Politics #AusVotes25

omg… this is among @thejuicemedia.bsky.social's best… 🥇 …but beware, it's also (appropriately) the sweariest yet. 🙊 www.youtube.com/watch?v=euE8...

Another beauty from Juice Media. This one on Dutton. www.youtube.com/watch?v=euE8...

The Coalition has staged a dramatic backflip over a $3 billion tax break for motorists who buy electric vehicles, revealing it would halt the scheme just two days after Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said it would go ahead. www.theage.com.au/politics/fed...

These major party leaders talking about lying during the campaign - You've both had the chance to ban lies during political campaigns and you've both rejected the idea.

@scarycutedinos.bsky.social Thanks!

me: weird that gotye is already being sampled?? i feel like it's usually old songs my husband: .....would you like to know how old that song is me: i would not

So after letting me know weeks ago they’re investigating my hacked account @strangerous.bsky.social, BlueSky is still yet to let me know if they’ve actually done anything, I’m still being contacted about things hacker is doing with account. Should I give up? @support.bsky.team ? Anyone home?😔

Oh no, I'm out of milk. Better wait for Dutton to deport everybody before I drag my scared white butt to the shops. Holy shit I wish this guy would fuck off.

The gorgeous, funny, smart, kind and indefatigable Magda Szubanksi just posted below on Twitter about her Bluesky name & handle. Follow her 👉 @realmagdaszubanski.bsky.social & welcome her to this great platform👊🥂🥳💜

I've been thinking about this too, and we really should be nice to visiting Americans. If they are visiting us, chances are they are whats left of the good ones in America. Show them some love, and empathy. We're all in this together somehow. #cdnpoli

Fair point

HAHAHA

Australia is one of the world’s largest gas exporters. We send around 80% of our gas overseas. More than half of the gas we export doesn’t even earn royalties or resources rent tax. We are literally giving away. Voting for the duopoly is like punching yourself in the balls. #auspol

The Coalition will remember Peter Dutton's disastrous campaign the way Labor remembers Mark Latham. An unhinged buffoon, wrecker and boofhead.

Good advice

The reason guys like Mark Zuckerberg are so obsessed with UFC and appearing masculine is because they’re extremely insecure about their masculinity.

Hey Albo & Dutton … Imagine the revenue windfall we could have in Australia if only we taxed this resource. Get your shit together. Tax the Gas at 78% of revenue or fuck off and we will get someone decent to do your jobs. #auspol #TaxTheGas @albomp.bsky.social @peterduttonmpposts.bsky.social

I seriously wish that people would find out what the word 'woke' means before repeatedly using it, thinking it's an insult.

The latest YouGov poll shows Labor and the Coalition TIED on 33% in the national primary vote If this was the actual election result, it would be the lowest vote total for the Coalition since the Liberal Party was formed in 1944

Weirdest job application you have ever had?

jacobin.com/2025/04/aust... Now countries outside Australia are even discussing Dutton's failures. They actually go on to talk about how the Liberal party started and how over the years, they've morphed into the barely-electable, right-wing party they have become... "Nutters Falling Off a Cliff"

The only sketch of mine that never aired.

Lots of talk about preferencing. Follow the simple rule: number every box and make sure you put all the racists last (there are a lot of them so it could take a while, but democracy takes effort).

Oh sweet Jeebus – at this point Labor might as well stop campaigning, the overcooked spud is doing it all for them. Also confirms that his nuclear boondoggle was only ever a work-for-the-dole scheme, and not designed to deliver any actual energy. www.abc.net.au/news/...

💯 👍🤨

When Dr Monique Ryan needed to ‘give more thought’ to paid content she gave a statement next day. This is how intelligence works. In contrast, Peter Dutton still doesn't know if climate change is real and is not about to ask someone who does know. This is how a dickhead works.

The Newspoll revealed Labor holds a national two-party-preferred lead of 52-48 The figure is now lower than the Coalition’s primary vote before losing the 2022 election. It marks the third consecutive poll to record a decline in the Coalition’s primary vote, which was at 40 per cent in November.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has fallen further out of favour with the Coalition’s primary vote dropping once again according to the latest Newspoll. Released on Sunday night, the second Newspoll of the campaign revealed the Coalition’s primary vote support falling a point to 35 per cent.

"So if you don’t like what the two major parties have done to campaigns and timidity in government, you should share my hope that this election puts neither major party back in majority government."

www.theage.com.au/politics/fed... "In my 51 years as a journalist, this is the 20th federal election campaign I’ve observed at close quarters, and I’m convinced they’re getting worse.. The good news is, the nation’s voters are already working on the solution..."

This guy has summarised every single party running in the federal election. He has saved me hours on my senate paper. He should be knighted!

I know everyone is focused on the 5% deposit announcement from Labor - but the announcement to build 100,000 homes for first home buyers should the standard of what governments do - governments should be in the business of building housing

LOVE it

Sadly the AEC has advised it won’t be coming to BlueSky for this election which is a damned shame I say Would you like to see the AEC here on BlueSky? #auspol #AEC
