In seriousness, the Ono example teaches us the same lesson we’ve been learning over and over again. Higher ed can’t compromise its way way. It can’t offer up DEI (reluctantly or enthusiastically) and expect that to be enough. The goal is total domination and there is little incentive to compromise.
