Lucy Letby: It probably is not as the headline states but it is interesting: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...

Should people cancel their Netflix and Amazon Prime memberships in protest against the American tariffs? 25% tariff on UK cars and steel is a bit like an economic war has been declared on the UK and people possibly should retaliate. Perhaps buy Samsung phones instead of American ones.

In a sense Trump has done OK. He has made much of the world think paying 10% to the US government is OK... The hard part will be anyone standing up to that and making the US pay 10% too... He probably has done well.

SBTX have now produced their first RNS from the show: www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article...

FTSE AIM SBTX : The press have started to write about the new cosmetic product made in conjunction with Croda. SBTX will get a certain percentage in royalties: www.cosmeticsandtoiletries.com/cosmetic-ing...

FTSE SBTX Skinbio Therapeutics - TODAY IS THE DAY. The SBTX-Croda beauty product will be launched at the Amsterdam cosmetic ingredient show today. Throughout the day there will be various clues as to how big (or not) this deal is. www.skinbiotherapeutics.com www.in-cosmetics.com/global/en-gb...

Pssst international cosmetic show tomorrow. Think SBTX anti aging for wealthy Baby Boomers. FTSE DOW NASDAQ www.in-cosmetics.com/global/en-gb...

BREXIT and REMAIN and TRUMP TARIFF... At this point it would make sense for EU and UK to "sort of" rejoin the SINGLE MARKET on a temporary basis. This would give a huge boost to both the UK and the EU. We both need that boost about now.

Antiques and mid-century modern. We buy stuff that reminds us of our youth. So mid-century modern becomes the new antique for baby boomers. Its simple. Worth working our what millennials will want as their antique.

Trump tax is not covid. the USA basically deciding to have equivalent of VAT on goods is not the end of the world.. especially since the UK is mainly a service country anyway... How far did the FTSE fall when the UK put up VAT to 20%? Answer: ZERO

PS - FTSE DOW NASDAQ TARIFFS What you might not know is the UK is the most service orientated economy in the world so most of the tariffs dont apply to UK exports (services) as financial services, software, consulting, etc are exempt.

FTSE NASDAQ DOW The Trump Tariffs They will have two equal and opposite effects 1. make US goods slightly more competitive 2. make EU and UK manufacturing 10 to 25% more efficient at making stuff to stay competitive I wonder if Trump has thought about effect 2?

Weirdly we are not one person we are 48 people. We shed dead cells, in weight, on average equating to the weight of 48 people, in an average life time. Also weirdly you only have to go back about 200 generations and the entire planet is related to one another.

This story would make a great science fiction novel

BREXIT EU TRUMP USA STARMER FTSE DOW My short term solution: Brexit happened in part due to peoples wish for a closer trade deal with USA, this not happen. Thus: I suggest we should TEMPORARILY re-join EU single market while Tariff Wars going on. Good for EU and UK. Help stops global recession.

Trumps Great Tariff Recession. He has put tariffs on foreign TRADE. Perhaps EU and UK should retaliate by putting tariffs on US SERVICES? A tariff on Amazon, Google, Netflix, US investment banks, Twitter and Microsoft.

Letby would have better chance of getting out of US Death Row than a UK jail: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/04...

FTSE All the old 10%+ dividend yield companies ABDN MNG PHNX are back to 10%+ yield again apart from LGEN which is still sub 10% at 9.5% yield. But all four are good. That is loads of money. At that rate I dont care "too much" if market goes up or down I still give the dividend.

China just wacked 34% tariffs on USA goods and restricting "rare earth" sales to USA.... FTSE tanking (Legal and General BEFORE it goes ex-dividend has fallen 6% - normally it rise before ex-dividend. "Trump Recession" is here... The entire World V USA... No on wins. DOW NASDAQ NIKKEI DAX

"The Great Trump Recession" FTSE DOW NIKKEI DAX NASDAQ I was thinking it might be time to buy hotel shares as there might be a boom in tourism- US people coming to the EU to buy products 25% cheaper

Children in 50 years time will read their history books and come to the chapter entitled "The Trump Slump"

FTSE CURRYS PLC - Probably worth looking at this again:

If TRUMP wanted to raise money he should have created a VAT tax like every other country.......

Brexit was slightly bad for the UK and EU economies. Trumps tariffs are Brexit TIMES 20.
