It’s been a crazy month. With the wildfires and then the demonic duo of Trump and Musk waging all out war against government employees (I’m an IT program manager in a government agency) it’s been extremely stressful. But…..I have decided that I will stay for now. Won’t quit like they want.

The worst part of being evacuated is that information drops during the night. Anyhoo…..last I heard the fire was behind Pine Circle. Still away from our home, on the other side of 27. We’re southwest of the Theatricum and northwest of Wildwood. Hope Hidden Treasures is OK. No losses yet.

Neighbor down the road who didn’t evacuate (I don’t agree with that!) just called me. Our home and my in-laws home are OK. SUCH RELIEF. He said no fires near us. It’s down south of Wildwood area. So far we are still OK. Continuing to cross fingers. Thank you Jay!!❤️❤️❤️ #palisadesfire #Topanga

Moonshadows restaurant in Malibu is GONE. MY HUSBAND AND MY ENTIRE COURTSHIP IS GONE. Moonshadows, Reel Inn, Will Roger’s house, Cholada……my heart is so broken I can’t even comprehend the loss. My heart breaks for the wildlife. Please Coco the coyote be OK with your family. #palisadesfire
