One of the biggest visual influences of Memoirs of an Angel: The Grey Pilgrim illustrated novel is the old 1922 witchraft documentary, "Haxan". Out of all the illustrations in the book, I think this one represents that really well.

Because of my health, we had to say goodbye to putting up the big Christmas tree. I just couldn't keep the cats out of it without either the tree being destroyed or having an asthma attack. So this is the new Christmas Tree Corner at The Rodman House. It's absolutely gorgeous 🎄😊
