M55+ T2D MJ12.5 I'm one of the unlucky who hasn't dropped much weight. I'm down maybe 10lbs, but that only came after brute-forcing my metabolism with bicycling, with 19 days and 612mi ridden last September alone.

Riding day off so I tried rewaxing my chain. There are two quick link pairs somewhere in the yard. Chain coupler is borked. Sacrificed a hanger to wax and hold the chain while trying to reconnect. At least 8 tries to remount the chain. Waxing is great they say😡. My day is DOGE'd. #bikesky

Had every intention on a McKeesport round trip today. My wife said "no plans" at 3pm. That changed on the trail, so I detoured to Golden Age Brewing to hold down a table and wait for the squad. It's gorgeous out. 75°, beer, food, and friends in March. 🙂 #Bikesky

Got my ass kicked on today's ride. High winds required me to push hard through the entire ride. My legs and lungs were spent by the end and I had to walk two of the last three climbs. 😔 #bikesky

First outdoor ride of 2025. Good lord I am out of shape. 15mi total, two stops at REI for front derailleur adjustment, and I barfed twice after climbs. On a positive note, I did all the climbs and didn't walk at all. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger though, or so I'm told. #Bikesky

Increased the Mounjaro from 10mg to 12.5mg this week. If Mounjaro had a TV show, it'd be either Mounjaro Scared Straight: Food Edition or Mounjaro Scared Straight: Fart Edition I'm just waiting for the upcoming GI Jailbreak.
