I think its more likely than not that Pope Francis chose this moment in time to let go, he was an introspective and caring human being who thought about his legacy more than most, we should take that push and use it to better american society, change is good

It's important for queer people to engage with normies even when it's hard, crossing cultural barriers is the only way to change their minds

In order to relate to the world productively you must engage with it personally
