A self portrait inserted into a scene from a favorite series of books. I’ve read the Lord of the Rings several times over the years (I was given the books in the early ‘80s), and yet I mostly only remember the walking around parts.

Here’s a pointless hill I’ll die on: “unflipped” manga is bad and dumb, and you’re ruining the artwork by explicitly fighting against the visual narrative as designed by the artist. (Not just manga. Any comics designed for a language that reads right to left.)

There’s evil, and then there’s negligent. Silly doodling using fairy tale tropes. Drawn in Affinity Designer. Why is it so much fun to draw layered skirts and ridiculous poofy shoulder pads? And tiny hooded minions?

Any excuse to draw wizards, am I right? All vector for a change.

Sports are for everyone. This pathetic attack on trans people is nothing more than scapegoating an already marginalized population to score cheap political points. If you actually cared about protecting children, you’d fight like hell for gun control, science based health care, & a social safety net

I’m worried about cold and flu season. What’s HHS’s recommendation for when I should start wearing a posset of ivermectin procured from a crone?

So, by executive order, the next president could decree that, hypothetically, Mar-a-Lago’s official name is “Abandoned Sewage Overflow Site,” and Google and Apple would totally go along, right?

I made a fake cover to one of my favorite childhood books, “The Book of Three,” by Lloyd Alexander. I wanted to do a stylized (maybe mid-century modern?) version. Basically, you should totally hire me to draw silly covers for classic fantasy books.

Quote re-post with yer wings. (It turns out, I draw a lot of seagulls. So instead, something more monstrous!) A voluptuous dragon, intricately rendered.

It occurred to me today (why yes, I do live near a college!) that pockets are just built in lanyards in your pants.

In the latest episode of Baywatch Massachusetts, the crew discovers that shady real-estate developers have been abusing the public trust.

If you see this, quote with your night art. “Will o’ the Wisp.” Vector and raster, created in Affinity Designer. This is game art from an RPG setting I’ve been working on for ages.

Things heat up on Baywatch Massachusetts, as the gang infiltrates a notorious horseshoe crab poaching operation.

The full comic series in one post! This is a true story from when I was a bike messenger in 2010. While I’ve had many experiences of sexism/chauvinism impacting my career over the years, this one I hold a grudge for.

“Ceci n’est pas un petit-déjeuner” I’m excited to relive the four years of waking up every morning to wonder what parts of America that f’n guy broke overnight. The taste of adrenal fatigue is such a great complement to breakfast.

I don’t see what the big deal is. Just put a 50% tariff on Chinese complete nonsense and consumers will switch back to American made AI.

Pour yourself a tall glass of Zorp, and settle in. It’s time to talk charismatic megafauna. A new illustration: Young explorers, and their love for the strange beasts of this world! Drawn as vector and raster in Affinity Designer.

More Baywatch Massachusetts. Teenagers threaten the piping plovers, so Jayden and Logan jump into action. I wanted to do a bit of drawing in Affinity Photo (I usually do my work in Designer), so grabbed this sketch.

Things heat up this week on Baywatch Massachusetts, when another gang muscles in on our heroes’ turf.

In a shocking turn of events, I’m wearing jeans and a sweater.

This stuff just writes itself. More Baywatch Massachusetts.

My plan is to use Bluesky for only my best material. Here’s my pitch for a remake of Baywatch, but set in Massachusetts. For two months of the year, the brave men, women, and non-binary folks of Massachusetts Baywatch keep our beaches safe from most of what Mother Nature throws at them.
