Gotta love when your tenants tell you they want to renew their lease for another year!

If you're new to real estate investing and looking for some guidance, or a mentor, call a small apartment complex owner and see what you can do for free to help them. In exactly they'll be willing to answer questions for you. You may need to call several, but someone will work with you.

I really enjoy and appreciate all the parks in #Mebane and #AlamanceCounty

"Operation Paperclip" is about the project to bring Nazi scientists to the US to help us compete with Russia's military technology advances. You will get some looks if you're reading it in public. 😬

Can't believe I'm stoked to see 6.9% interest rates 😆 youtube.com/shorts/oddl8...

I would prefer Mebane build more affordable, first time home type houses as opposed to more Mill Creek McMansions or apartments. #Mebane #AlamanceCounty #OrangeCounty www.newsoforange.com/community/ar...

I often think about owning one of these 5-15 unit apartment complexes, but at this point in my life I don't want to take on everything that comes with them.

At my next house I want multiple shower heads

When buying or selling a home, some fees like taxes and HOA fees are prorated. This means you'll only pay for the time you owned the house. For example, a seller who has already paid the annual HOA fees for the year will be reimbursed by the buyer for the remainder of the year after settlement.

If you're going to spend the time, money, and energy to make the kitchen look like this, spend the $100-$200 to upgrade the ceiling fans from the 80's.

345K for a 1,355 sqft house with no garage? I don't care if it is in Mebane. Keep reducing that price.

Super excited to see @cordiesanchez.bsky.social on Bluesky! I first learned about her on The Iced Coffee Hour, and have been a fan of her content ever since. She offers unique and inspiring advice on building wealth and succeeding at whatever you're doing. I highly encourage you to follow her!

If you really want to know The results of the recent NAR lawsuits I highly recommend watching this episode of Mortgage Monday. TLDR: not much really changed, but some lawyers made a ton of money youtu.be/Aje5BKov1Tc?...

This article argues that real estate isn't a good investment because of the work it requires, meaning not passive, hands off. I think a better argument against real estate is rising taxes and insurance fees that you'll never escape. www.newsweek.com/real-estate-...

As much as I would never recommend buying a timeshare, going to their hour long presentations to get a hyper discounted stay is great!

Home inventory is increasing, but the # of sales is decreasing. www.redfin.com/news/housing...

In NC landlords are required to keep security deposits in an escrow account, but an escrow account isn't a unique type of account. They can be checking or savings as long as other funds aren't commingled. Security deposits for multiple renters can be kept in the same account though.

Mebane NC 👍 Built in 2025 👍 No HOA 👍 Beautiful, high-end finish👍 3 Bd, 3 Ba, 1600 sqft 👍 No garage ☹️ Wonky floorplan ☹️ Driveway in front yard and unfinished ☹️ $372,500 🤮

Timeshares are awful. Their interest rates rival credit cards and every year they can charge you whatever maintenance fee they want. If they were any good there wouldn't be companies YOU PAY to get rid of them for you.

With interest rates hovering around 7%, my current strategy for acquiring new priorities is to put more money down and to submit much lower offers. www.cnet.com/personal-fin...
