It gets the point across better for sure, and the simpler design makes for a better miniature icon. I have an idea I'll float by you with a bad mspaint drawing when I get back from work.

I think the cast range up needs some detail showing that you're targeting something. As it is, it looks like a movement buff. Maybe put a blob in the last square as a target? Or maybe a dartboard style target or a scope reticle.

The general stereotype in america for a tourist is a bumbling fool or a country hick visiting the city, looked down upon for being a kind of idiot. We reinforce our own stereotypes often when visiting others, so being viewed as "normal person" or "not tourist-like" is desirable.

Speaking of play with friends, will any sort of online functionality be added to UFO50? There's many games that seem like great multiplayer experiences, but I don't live near any of my friends and the delay that steam play together adds makes most of them unplayable.
