Following a decent long walk, it's time for a late lunch/early dinner at NY Richie's. My personal fav: eggplant parmesan sandwich, sweet potato fries, and a regular sweet tea - $17.89. So delicious.

This maga shit is tiresome.

Accurate.

The first Pride was a Riot. Pride month is in June in honor of the Stonewall riots, a series of clashes between gay and trans people and the police in New York City in June 1969. Now 56 years later, we're still fighting the monsters of oppression and hate.

"... there are no laws about how someone should dispose of a #miscarriage, but the anti-abortion movement wants to change that. Just yesterday, I reported that Students for Life is lobbying Republicans to bring federal legislation that requires the burial or cremation of miscarriage remains."

Sanders is right. Musk's discontent with this bill is that it doesn't take more away from American families to feed his greed.

"It has been shocking to observe the repeated disrespect for the law exhibited by Attorney General Labrador. The latest example is his effort to escape accountability for firing a competent and reputable Deputy Attorney General (DAG) in March of 2023." politicalpotatoes.substack.com/p/raul-labra...

Milk's family had a naval service history. Commissioned an officer in 1951, he served as a diving officer aboard submarine rescue ship USS Kittiwake during the Korean War. In 1955, he got a "less than honorable" discharge after being "questioned about his sexual orientation." Hate resurfaces again

We're never getting rid of him. He'll own his flying palace and have all the trappings of power. His enablers will protect him from justice. His delusional world is becoming our reality. His military parade is icing on his birthday cake. Let that sink in.

1) she purposely avoided the question. 2) she mangled the issue on meaningless blather. 3) she bridges immediately to blaming the war on Biden.

On Monday, the National Republican Congressional Committee launched a Spanish ad campaign targeting eight House Democrats, which doubled down on their promise to target 11 seats occupied by Democrats across the Southwest.

This is really bad.

Highest food insecurity rates by county: Lewis (17.6%), Butte (16.9%), and Shoshone (16.6%). Among children, Lewis (25%), Shoshone (24.8%), Boundary (24%), and Clearwater (23.4%). #idpol "Food insecurity is defined as not having enough to eat and not knowing where the next meal will come from."

"Vice Chair Ryan Spoon and Chairman Thad Butterworth have turned the Ada County Republican Central Committee into a toxic and exclusionary space. Their meetings have become hostile, combative, and unwelcoming." #idpol #idleg #idgop politicalpotatoes.substack.com/p/idaho-gop-...

The Law Enforcement Identification Act (S.3909), introduced in Congress on 06/08/20, would’ve required federal officers engaging in protests or arrests to have agency markings and clear uniform ID. It never passed. Nothing protects you from being taken by someone claiming to be a federal agent.

"This deception—deliberate and organized—is promoted by figures like Dorothy Moon, Bryan Smith, and the Idaho Freedom Foundation under the “true conservative” label." #idpol #idgop #idleg politicalpotatoes.substack.com/p/idaho-arya...

If this does not piss you off, then you are a fascist loving scumbag.

On this date (06/02/20): Trump threatened to deploy U.S. military against American protesters expressing anger over the murder of George Floyd. Trump criticized governors as "weak," telling them to "dominate" protesters outraged Floyd's murder.
