I've seen a lot of speculation about the effects of Covid on people's bad driving. Well, now there's this. What do you know... "Driving Under the Cognitive Influence of COVID-19: Exploring the Impact of Acute SARS-CoV-2 Infection on Road Safety"

If you're a disabled, neurodivergent or chronically ill person who's experienced light as a barrier in theatre, please help understand this better by completing our short survey (8 questions) & or by sharing this with others. Let there be #LightMaps www.touretteshero.com/2025/02/10/l...

Sir James Munby, former head of the Family Division of the High Court, has given his opinion on the supposedly improved Assisted Suicide Bill. His view: "it still falls lamentably short of providing adequate safeguards". transparencyproject.org.uk/assisted-dyi...

Either everyone who gets COVID ends up in hospital, or everyone in hospital is at risk of becoming infected with COVID, or there are serious weaknesses in the surveillance of COVID (in hospitals and not in hospitals), or all of the above, or none of the above? 🤦If only it was that simple!

Our Back for a Moment campaign found that 83% of people think the nation is bad at talking about death and grief. We want to change this and encourage the nation to open up. Here are some things that bereaved people say are most helpful. Read more on our website: www.sueryder.org/grief-suppor...

Scientists of the world, this is happening on our watch and we need to face it down. Evidence-based medicine weaponised for overtly ideological purposes. We do not need randomised trials of 'vaccine' versus 'no vaccine' when those vaccines have *already* been shown to be safe & effective. #episky 🧪

February marks the 10th anniversary of the Supreme Court of Canada's decision to legalise euthanasia. We were promised there would be no slippery slopes. A decade on, there was no slippery slope; it was a cliff. Me for @nationalpost.bsky.social. nationalpost.com/opinion/yuan...

Trying to plug a catastrophic loss of support for their Assisted Dying Bill, lobbyists have published a letter signed by 53 MPs backing the latest change to the Bill, removing the judicial safeguards that they'd previously said were critical. But the letter reveals more weakness than strength 🧵

Humanists UK loudly backed the assisted suicide Bill because it had 'the best judicial oversight anywhere in the world'. When those same safeguards had to be humiliatingly dropped, they laughably come back saying 'no worries, everything's under control'. The Bill is a car crash and needs to go.

Lots of useful analysis here. Standout stat - 2 million economically inactive people want a job. They don’t need harsher benefit conditionality or lower incomes. They need better support & more accessible jobs. That’s what health & disability reforms should focus on.

Without a passionate collective defence of vaccination against the billionaire misinformation campaigns, keeping infectious diseases like measles under control will become impossible. It's time to make vaccine denial and misinformation a criminal offence and stop these liars in their tracks.
