In grade school, one of my sons was busted for running in the hall. He claimed he was only "jogging" so the rule didn't apply. The First Felon, WRT Abrego Garcia, is acting exactly like a smug little ten year old boy. He pretends he can parse some words and justify his unconscionable actions.

My mother had polio in the 1950's and it affected her until the day she died. She insisted we wash our hands with soap and water after using the toilet. Eventually I read how polio is spread and tied those facts together. Washing your hands helps stop the spread of polio. Vaccines help more.

Went bike riding with my grandson yesterday. He's a newbie and was having trouble getting started with his power stroke. He figured it out and then we headed out through the streets. Next ride holds promise - we'll visit a construction site he has watched online, and then OSU's "NASA Tree".

RISE! Just had an errand to run through downtown (Corvallis, OR). Biggest crowd I have ever seen on the Courthouse lawn. No parking for blocks and the bike racks at the library are filled. Lots of families filtering in - cycling and walking, carrying signs.

I followed my suspicions and found a nest on the patio. I hung a sling from the patio roof and shifted the whole works about 4' straight up, out of reach and notice of the dogs. Momma bird has returned.

I have bought three brand new, high quality, first bikes for grandchildren since November. Investing in the long game to make the world a better place.
