First time ever playing through Ultra Moon without picking all Alola Pokemon. tbh I picked like all of them for like the silly joke factor, but they’ve surprised me, I’ve only had them faint 3 times, even while being underleveled. Like, Vullaby with Eviolite is kinda cracked!

The best feeling is finding a game so engaging that you forget you have 20 pounds of mucus trapped in your skull, clawing to get out. I spent 3 hours making charts for the berry tree mutations in Cobblemon, and forgot how much pain I was in the whole time.

Old team vs. New Team I still love the ones I cut, but the new team are the ones that give me that flowery Alola feeling. I just have to embrace the 2 Grass/Ghost physical attackers, 2 Pika-likes, and the Johto mon that gets turned into a surfboard, bc that’s what Alola means to ME!
