More mass adoption and more centralized community assets. When we will finally have the godot asset store the engine will have its cambrian explosion. Blender's explosion was the release of both eevee and better UI/UX in 2.8. Godot's UI, UX and DX is still cumbersome for a lot of people.

When I first started Unity, coming from writing games from scratch, the way they handled materials felt weird, very weird, along with some big physics performance issues at scale.
Those were small in comparison with the issues I've faced with Godot, but it is slowly getting better as well.

It's kinda funny, the core dev team continually says they don't care about the unity devs and adoption, but ex-unity devs are probably the biggest godot "minority" at this point, we just don't want to be abused by licensing anymore

I'm assuming you're also playing into the joke, otherwise sorry if it didn't come across. Whenever I see these people (and I've received plenty of hate myself) I just laugh at them patronizing their takes, otherwise they keep coming back and be more annoying.

Man I've been asking for asset store updates for almost a year now, this is great news.
Anything more we might now other than the initial release being ~this month?

It’s amazing that the Linux community gaslit themselves into thinking they’re the problem instead of the scotch tape and bubblegum that’s holding their specific flavor of a clone of an OS from the 1960s together.

Even worse (better?) is when mid implementation you realize how easy you could've finished said feature.
At some point I spent an entire afternoon messing with some isosurface rendering, and at the end I realized I should've just started my loop at 1
