Simple things that shouldn't be a thing in this year, 2025: Anti-vaxxer Flat Earther

A planet just blew up in Helldivers 2. The thing that blew it up is on a collision course for Super Earth with 5 other planets in its way. This game is cool man.

1. Trying to make more things for the player to do in the dungeon (that don't involve combat) 2. Decided to change the way big Landmarks are discovered - adding a new resource (breaking the old save format) 3. Refactoring the treasure spawning to take this into account. Now nothing works. #gamedev

This video shows another aspect of the player lighting system. In bright situations, the Scuttlers are afraid of the light and will always try to move to dark areas. Once the player's light source reaches a certain level, the Scuttlers are emboldened and will attack. Soft time limits - a 🧵 #gamedev
