Currently working on a project where devs have raised some red flags over potential hidden costs in the technology and been ignored. We have a requirement to generate PDF copies of certain documents for record retention, sending out via email etc.

There is something nice about sitting somewhere dry and warm where you can listen to the rain falling. Tents are the best, but conservatories and greenhouses are a very close second (added bonus of no wet fabric to wrestle back into a bag come morning)

A couple of days ago we deployed some aggressive rate limits on a service to try and stop one of our external partners scraping at obscene rates. Today we got to watch them debugging and trying to work out the rate limit in real time in our logs.
