Insurance: You can’t have the new medicine until you’ve failed on three existing formulations. Me: But those existing formulations are all back ordered. I can’t fail on the old ones if I can’t get them in the first place. Insurance: Excellent! The system is working as planned.

Since this doesn’t relate to a matter being brought through the federal courts, one can only assume that this is a matter seeking original jurisdiction in the Supreme Court. Chief Justice Roberts needs to review what types of matters are eligible for such standing. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/31/u...
