I’m so sick of people saying this shit, especially elected officials. He’s the president. Declaring himself a king after issuing an order just the day before that says he’s the final authority on all laws isn’t a goddamn distraction.

There has been a lot of cruelty coming from Trump and Musk over the last month, but pulling funding from a program to help special needs students prepare for life after high school is right near the top of the list. It's just absolute shameless cruelty.

The big takeaway here is that Reuters won this case against the AI company on grounds they violated fair use—the judge found the AI company was guilty because, in using copyrighted works to generate its output, it “meant to compete... by developing a market substitute.” Huge.
