May as well start discussing my Fallout Utah project, considering it probably won't see any formal light of day anytime soon. Each of the images here will have a hefty chunk of info in their alt-text, even if they're all bite-sized in comparison to the actual documents.

Currently poking away at ideas for Galactic Republic equipment that are neither particularly Mandalorian or Clone- but also don't look Imperial and aren't locked into the Alderaanian look. This sketch feels very commando, and I think I'll keep it in reserve for something that can feel very ARC.

Overhauled the Brute Shredder concept a bit, and split it into two variants; one that's closer to the classic Carbine form-factor, and one that's more appropriately Brute.

Something not spoilery for my current projects, here's an experiment to make a Brute Carbine that's mostly compliant with the Bungie games' style. Resemblance to a Guitar is purely incidental, but it makes me chuckle. Ideas on gameplay performance in the alt text.

Behold; loaf. This is (an old picture of) the Bubs. He is a shithead, but also adorable.

For those unaware, I'm doing an exceptionally OCD thing and compiling an Order of Battle for the Galactic Republic for a thing I'm writing. Here's a useful two-part snapshot of the horror I've inflicted on myself and my cowriters. (there are 20 Armadas w/ 10 BGs to an Armada)

I think the Number (because using the hashtag causes problems) 2 Warpod deserves more love. It's basically the half-brother of the Toscan, but actually cool as fuck and could do with some modernization. I mean, hell, it's only stats are from a modified variant used as a boarding craft by pirates.

So, not quite art, but I wanted to explore what a F4U Corsair would look like if it was a starfighter. What I got was a very classical Incom design in many respects, save for the huge fuckoff engine cluster on the back. (cobbled this together in StudIO, the Lego MOC software about a year or so ago)

Now for my mandatory grumbling moment: New Canon (IE, post-2008 material) takes everything I love about star wars and sterilizes it. Ship designs? They take two or more company designs and hybridize them (which makes them rather Ugly) rather than invent new designs with appropriate design languages.
