At 56 with a serious heart condition, blown out left ACL, financial collapse eminent, depression, no family (non wife/kids, haven’t spoken to my family since 1987),130lbs overweight, and living in a country that’s turned into a dictatorship, suicide really does seem like the best choice.

The TikTok ban is a good reminder that as a US citizen you only have the ‘rights’ that the 535 members of Congress, the President, and SCOTUS decide you have. They can strip you of any ‘right’ they choose, including your life, on a whim and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.
