Get to know new DNC Chair Ken Martin.

Tune in for the first DNC officer virtual forum—focused on the Southern region.

Every single democratic house member should be on podcasts and creating videos talking about the shutdown. Every single one. Get the message out to the masses (not just on Twitter) Go to local & cable news Go on podcasts Record long form video explainers Make short form videos

#Veep is a documentary

I remember when House Oversight was relegated as the freshmen committee. Started gaining popularity under Obama & gained even more traction under Trump. Now, it’s one of the top committees in the House & a great place to make a name for yourself-esp if you have bigger goals.

🆕The next #dncchair has a chance to revolutionize how we connect with voters online. Here are what I think they should focus on: 1️⃣A Big Tent Influencer Ecosystem 2️⃣Paid Influencer Partnerships 3️⃣Creator-Style Long-Form YouTube Content Read my blog: callmewilsar.posthaven.com/digital-stra...

Coming soon on my blog: a message to the next #DNC Chair… 🖊️ #socialmediapolitics

"I think social media should be basically common infrastructure that society gets to use and evolve it as society evolves, building a more democratic form of social media to reflect a democratic society."

This is not a bad idea and I do think that some people on #Bluesky would pay for it—compared to the reactions to Elon he launched Twitter premium. I wonder if they’ll offer elected officials access to the premium plan.

While Trump may have won #TikTok this cycle, #Democrats don’t see the app as a lost cause. In fact, the Democratic strategists I’ve spoken to have argued that a presence on the app is more necessary than ever. www.wired.com/story/future... #socialmediapolitics

🆕 I wrote about why democrats don’t need their own Joe Rogan. Instead invest in a comprehensive, thoughtful digital strategy that combines organic social media, influencer marketing, & long-term relationship-building so they can level the playing field⬇️ callmewilsar.posthaven.com/influencers-...

#FindTheLight Sharing some of the stuff I’ve captured through my phone lately.

Why do so many feel like they've fallen behind? It's not because of immigrants, trans people, the “deep state,” or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP. It's because big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains

🆕 The Rise of News Influencers Influencers aren’t new, but their influence on news and politics is growing. A recent @pewresearch.org study reveals how these creators are shaping public opinion, especially in the political sphere. Read my take on it: callmewilsar.posthaven.com/the-rise-of-...

Thinking about The Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents today. Two great books.
