I’m seeing a lot of posts about how certain immigrants sent to El Salvador are not actually criminals and this is true but I would also like to remind you that people with criminal records shouldn’t be subjected to this, either.

I really do think we’re well beyond this point. If you pretend that your differences with friends and coworkers and family are about “politics” when in fact they’re about right versus wrong and fascism versus the rule of law, you’re doing your country a grave disservice.

How is this not a violation of several constitutional rights? The 8th amendment prohibits cruel and unusual punishment. I think slavery qualifies. 14th guarantees due process. This should make everyone afraid.
