I think I need to start writing about movies somewhere. Film has always meant a lot to me. My parents are huge movie buffs and I grew up on Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, and Sean Connery. I'm finding more and more lately I care to go back at watch good films. Anyways, Capote was exceptional.

Haul from yesterday! My old go-to record store/movie store moved again and the stock is even smaller. Sad times. But I got a David Lynch!!

Honestly I think this was the most Lynchian thing he could have done.

Obviously Louie is a bad person but this dialogue is profound. “You’re like a walking poem.” “The bad part is when you forget her. When you don’t care about her, when you don’t care about anything. The bad part is coming, so enjoy the heartbreak while you can.”

I wrote a song today. My first ever. Acoustic guitar and spoken word vocals from a poem I wrote about heartbreak a few years back. It’s not good. Bad, even. But it’s mine and I’m proud. Next step, a single worth releasing. Maybe an EP. I feel electric.

From Gay USA (1977). This lady is amazing.

Random youtube recommendation that turned out to be a shoegaze MASTERPIECE

Signed up for Criterion yesterday and I do not regret it. First film I watched was a 60's italian film about workers unionizing called The Organizer. Highly recommended, super good. 2 hours of italians doing this 🫴

Wonderful.

Only 4 more days till my new EP drops. Took a lot of inspiration from some of my favorite emo bands of the midwest variety. You can pre-save it here. There's also a link to my bandcamp where you can pre-order it 😉 #furrymusic #emo #punk #DIY #furry distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...

Drove 3 hours on Christmas and listened to the entirety of Deathconsciousness and The New Sound. Are they Christmas albums? They are now.

Watched this modern-day retelling of a Shakespearean play last night and it immediately became one of my favourite movies of all time. The acting is so damn good. Ralph Fiennes is the man.
