For years, 73-year-old ‘Helen’* had been struggling in silence. When we first met her in 2020, she needed help opening her post due to poor eyesight but wasn’t ready to engage with more support. By 2023, things had worsened. 🧵👇

Every woman deserves a safe place to call home. This #InternationalWomensDay, let’s shine a light on women experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Many factors can lead to homelessness, but for women, fleeing domestic abuse and relationship breakdowns are among the most common.

When John left prison, he faced an uncertain future. Fortunately, we were there to help him through the next stage of his life. At our Jubilee Project, a 10-bed accommodation for people who have been involved in the criminal justice system, John found a safe space to begin rebuilding. 🧵👇
