This is the most wretched campaign of deliberate, explicit persecution the United States has perpetrated against a minority group in decades. Many of the most important people in politics and journalism are busying themselves trying to figure out how little to say or do about it.

I think countries around the world should levy tariffs specifically on Tesla in response to US tariffs, as well as banning Twitter as a national security threat driving a wedge between our co-dictators may be the most effective thing they can do

Sitting down for a rep screening of Chopping Mall(1986). This is going to be fun!

Just saw Wild Zero (1999) at a rep screening. What a fucking film. At once hilarious, exhilarating, and genuinely moving. When Ace gets over his transphobia and professes his love to Tobio at the end after being taught “love has no borders, nationalities, or genders" by his rock star hero I cried.

Oh man, i just saw maybe my favorite movie of the year so far. Limbo. It's an Australian film, shot in gorgeous black and white, set in a desolate opal mining town that revolves around a junkie detective trying to solve a 20 year cold case of a missing indigenous girl. Ivan Sen made a masterpiece.

I’ve been listening to this record since I was 17. It never gets old, it just gets better. Chartered Trips might be one of the best songs ever written.

Excited to announce I’ve been paid $5,000,000 for my new comedy special, “They Won’t Let You Do Comedy Anymore” for a big streamer. It’s shot at an opera house that sits 5,000 cheering fans. My opening bit will be about me being silenced. The rest will be how much I hate my wife

Almost everyone I know has tattoos. I have none. I’m 43 and would feel awkward negotiating one. All that mental energy, time and money? No thanks.

Micheal Azerrads’s great book about American underground rock music in the 80’s “Our Band Could Be Your Life” is on Spotify. Well written and researched, incredibly entertaining, and every band featured is worthy of being put into the cannon of greatest bands ever.

I still do my best to jam econo

La Chimera is not very good. I didn’t care about any of the characters, it was 30 min too long and it had too many endings. The performances are great. The premise is great. It looks beautiful, but the film just didn’t put all these great ingredients into a satisfying dish.

It’s the anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. Yeah, it was a selfish, dick move that traumatized me in jr high, but Let’s acknowledge that the guy had incredible taste nirvana.fandom.com/wiki/Kurt_Co...
